Region of Petrovolgrad

Petrovolgrad is a virgin region in the north of Leningrad, Russia. Is a rural area with a little village with the same name which was founded in 1756.

The inhabitants of the area live from rural farming and fishing. Life is hard in winter, when the temperature doesn't rise from 0 degrees.

However, a large oil field was recently discovered, and is being exploited by a big national company. It will bring wealth to the region.

New companies have arrived to the town, and they look explendid in Nevski Avenue! This area is becoming so popular, actually, the elite of Petrovolgrad has settled down there.

In addition, large industrial companies are expanding their business in the region, increasing the economy wealthness.

BREAKING NEWS: Massive disturbs on Petrovolgrad ghetto

This neighborhood is formed by many immigrants from Eastern Europe. They accuse the government of the region allowing large companies on the city to hire with subhuman conditions.

During the altercation two people have died as a result of police charges. This has further increased the hatred towards a community strongly rejected by the local population.

As I explained in other posts in Winter in Paradiso (https://theotown.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... t=5552#top) these buildings images are taken from internet (so is public, not from my property) I just aded a Json file to run them on the game.

The creator is one guy called 'iSohey' from Devian Art webpage.

I didnt atribute the plugin as mine, why you acuse me of violating the copyright rules?

The Governor of Petrovolgrad has inaugurated this morning the new Tourism Office and has given a press conference in order to explain the details of the new touristic strategies for the near future.

Is expected the arraival of about 300,000 tourists per year. The first tourists will arrive from February, when the opening of the new International Airport of Petrovolgrad (IAP) is scheduled.

International Airport of Petrovolgrad

The International Airport of Petrovolgrad (IAP), has been opened a few days before the estimated date! The firts passengers have tested the facilities of the terminal, as well as the connections with the city.

Current outskirts and main conections with the airport.

There are two terminals, in which the flights are divided between nationals and internationals. This last will receive greater traffic acording to the national study of air transport carried out by the Ministry of Industry. In it, is detailed an increase in the transport of goods, which has caused the proliferation of headquarters of large world companies in the financial district of Petrovolgrad in the last months.
