Here is my new plugin : the new Japan Residential Building Pack ! This pack contains 220 + Japanese-themed T , TT , and TTT residential buildings for your city , from old historic houses to suburban homes , apartement complexes , low - rise buildings , and large-scale apartement towers !
~~~ A few words about this pack ~~~
This pack started as a basic update of my previous one , but because of the difference of quality i decided to keep them separate .
This project started around 4 years ago , after i made a few buildings . I worked on most of the buildings during the 1st French lockdown ( around March-May 2020 ).
As you might know , the original Japan pack was my first big plugin which made me part of the TheoTown communauty , so I pretty much consider this pack as a tribute to the original .

As said previously , the original idea was to make only Tokyo buildings , but eventually I added buildings from other areas , like Toyama , Nagoya , Fukuoka , Osaka , Kobe , and much more . The aim of this project is to make a variety of buildings inspired by Japan's architecture style , from historic wooden houses to state - of - the - art modern apartement buildings ! Around 95 % of the buildings are inspired by real life buildings will the last 5 % are either inspired by AI - generated images or coming from anime material .
I was inspired to revive this project a few months ago after playing TheoTown again and using the NYC / North American pack , which has its own zone ( really recommend it ! ) . It made me want to make my own zone and that's how I got back into ' plugin business ' !
The reason I took so much time before releasing this new update was that I wasn't satisfied enough with the progress to publish it . But thanks to the fellow communauty of the Citadel Discord Server for their continued support and feedback I'm very happy to present this new update for you to enjoy !
This update includes 7 new buildings :
• a 3x3 TT and a 4x4 T generic apartement buildings coming both with 3 different height variations using animations
• a small 1x1 TT bunch of building from Tokyo
• a modern - looking 1x1 corner apartement coming with 3 corners
• a 1x1 4 stories modern - looking apartement building from the Chuo area in Tokyo
• a 2x2 row of apartement buildings from Osaka
• a new variant for a T level sloped building inspired by the tokyo5 building from my 1st Tokyo pack
This new update also come with the tokyo20 building reworked to my today's standards as well as the tokyo24 building ( the tall corner building ) which now have 2 different heights variations ( 4 and 7 floors ) thanks to animations , and a new mirrored variant for the fukuoka14 building ( the 3x3 row of tall buildings ) suggested by Fe Delas .

~ About the 4 zones of this pack ~
After installing this plugin , you will find 4 new zones in your residential tab .
The first one is the Traditional Japanese Zone : this zone allows you to build only traditional style buildings . Those are only 1x1 and 2x2 T and TT buildings and are quite limited in progress ( they don't grow a lot ), so please keep this in mind when designing your city .

The next zone is the long awaited Suburban Zone which has been requested by many people . This zone allows you to build only comtemporary houses and suburban homes . Those are only 1x1 and 2x2 T and TT buildings and don't grow a lot .

Third one is the low-density / low-rise zone which allows you to build only low - rise apartement buildings . It allows only buildings with 1 to 4 floors to spawn : quite handy if you want to control the maximum height of the buildings in a certain area . Got the idea of creating this zone due to many of fellows TT cities creators enjoying my low - rise buildings .

And lastly , the 'classic ' Residential Zone which was included in the previous update . This allows any building from this pack to spawn , including the tall 5x5 apartement buildings !

IMPORTANT :
Please note that I splitted my residential and commercial JP buildings in their own separate pack . If you were using the previous 2022 version of the JPPack ( 2.3.2 ) and want to keep the commercial buildings , I included the link to the dedicated forum post for it below .

If you used the old versions of the pack , please remove the old version from your plugin folder and replace it with the new JPpack2-4-10.zip if you don't want to have issues when launching the game ( aka id already in use ) .
