How to install
Download the .plugin, .ttplugin or .zip file and move it into the plugins folder of your TheoTown game folder:
  • Android - The game folder is located at Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files which can also be accessed on the device itself by using Google's file explorer
  • iOS - The game folder is accessible as a virtual folder called "TheoTown" via iTunes after connecting the device. On the device itself you can use the Files app to access that virtual folder.
  • Desktop - The game data is stored in /Users/YourUsername/TheoTown
Another way is to navigate to the region view in the game->open game menu->File manager->plugins where you can import plugins manually by using the import function. After making changes you have to restart the game to see an effect.

For external plugins you are accessing the plugins folder for TheoTown. This folder is intended for the development and testing of your own plugins.

WARNING:
DO NOT install plugins from untrusted sources. External plugins, especially those not sourced from our official plugin store, pose a significant security risk. They might contain harmful or malicious code.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
  • Trust: Only use plugins from creators you trust.
  • Verification: Insist on receiving unencrypted plugin files. This allows you to inspect the code yourself for any potentially harmful content.
  • Safety First: If you are unsure about the safety of a plugin, do not install it.
Remember, your security is paramount. Installing external plugins can compromise not only your game experience but also your device's security.
