Clone tool?

I've been doing city planning and lay-outing and I find it particularly frustrating when I don't get the proper road measurements correct. I'm trying to do 8 by 8 cubes but often i get it incorrect.

Maybe I've been playing to much prison architect lol but a clone tool would be nice.

How exactly does the clone tool work there?

You may create a plugin that provides some sort of empty template buildings that help you to plan your city layout. I remember that CommanderABab created a plugin like that.

Maybe you could slect what you want to copy in the same way you choose what is destroyed with the delete tool.

Has some of the templates. I think they are 7x7 so 4 could be in a square. I'm on my phone. Keyboard doesn't work in forum sometimes. The res T one or the park ones are good for laying things out. The res one is also good for getting riots when roads are added adjacent.

Basically in prison architect, when you use the clone tool you can box in objects in a 12 by 12 area and you will have the option to place that template everywhere.
