In which game mode do you play? In difficult mode there are a lot more expectations of your inhabitants and you get less money. On every mode, our old cities are not ready for this. You have to place lot of high density residential. You also need to build schools so more people will be rich. Also often look at the demand and place the right zones. :D yea i know, i haved 100 k populiation in my city before update and after update left just 40 k now i have 64k and i cant back to...
